This is referring to the language only - why do I say "Cook Islands Māori" and not simply "Māori"? ❓️ The three official languages of the Cook Islands are English, Māori, and Pukapukan🌴 (with different dialects of Māori within) Excluding Pukapuka, the Māori spoken in the Cook Islands is commonly referred to as: Kuki, Kuki Airani, Raro, Rarotongan BUT in all essence, this is Māori 🇨🇰 Just not exactly the same as our very famous brother, the Māori of Aotearoa 🇳🇿 | Kuki Learning
