Historic Occoneechee Speedway 🏎️This is located in Hillsborough, North Carolina and it is so cool! This was originally a half-mile horse track, and was later expanded to be a 1 mile oval dirt track to be used by NASCAR! This speedway was active from 1948-68 and it drove thousands of spectators to their races. The last race was held in 1968 and it would later sit for THREE decades to become overgrown and almost forgotten about. Today, it is converted into a beautiful walking trial with its marks
