We are proud to announce the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium is the first institution outside of Florida to participate in the AZA-Florida Reef Tract Rescue Project. This project brings together government agencies, regional conservation organizations, and The Association of Zoos and Aquariums institutions to save corals from an unprecedented outbreak of a new coral tissue loss disease that threatens to eliminate ⅓ of coral species in the world's third largest barrier reef.
