On this day in 1963, President John F. Kennedy and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy hosted a State Dinner at the White House in honor of King Hassan II of Morocco. After the meal, the Kennedys and their guests went to the East Room to see a production of Brigadoon, the musical about love in the Scottish Highlands.
