In a win-or-go home game, Tennessee beat Nebraska in game three of the Knoxville Super Regional. After the Huskers win on Friday night, and then Vols win on Saturday, Sunday's game meant the winner would move on to the Women's College World Series. Tennessee got on the board first, taking a 1-0 lead in the first inning.

Nebraska won the opening game of the Super Regional, 5-2. Tennessee won game two of the best of the three series forcing a game three on Sunday.
