Riley is progressing and looking good, but the Atlanta Braves felt it made more sense to wait a little longer to bring him back

Riley landed on the 10-day injured list on July 12th due to a strained right abdomen. Skipper Brian Snitker said he did not experience a setback, but the club is just playing it safe. Until Riley’s return, we’ve got Nacho Alvarez Jr. in the hot corner.
