OTSEGO COUNTY, MI – Police have identified the 70-year-old man who was arrested after a homicide in Otsego County on June 12. Michael Haley, of Gaylord, was arraigned in the 87-A District Court in Otsego County on June 13. He is charged with one count of homicide, according to a news release from the Michigan State Police.
An investigation is underway after a deadly shooting Monday afternoon in a Birmingham alley. The shooting happened at 4:49 p.m. in the 4000 block of Terrace G. Police and Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service responded to the alley, which is off busy Avenue I, and found the victim unresponsive in an alley. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
