The U.S. Food and Drug Administration's staff reviewers on Tuesday raised safety concerns that GSK's blood cancer drug Blenrep, when used in combination with other treatments, may cause eye damage in patients.
The agency claims Whoop is marketing an unauthorized medical device intended to diagnose, cure, treat or prevent a disease.
“There are no FDA-approved drugs containing 7-OH, and it is illegal to market any drugs containing 7-OH,” the FDA said. “Consumers who use 7-OH products are exposing themselves to products that have not been proven safe or effective for any use.”
