President-elect Donald Trump will try to fire up his base with one last pre-inauguration rally on Sunday, January 19 in Washington, D.C. Newsweek reached out to the D.C. mayor's office and Trump transition team by email on Saturday afternoon for comment.

Donald Trump will officially become the 47th president of the United States after the swearing-in ceremony scheduled for Monday, January 20. Trump will also deliver his inaugural address and host an inaugural dinner after taking oath.

On the day before his inauguration, Trump will host a “Make America Great Again Victory Rally." It's scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. EST at the Capital One Arena.
