The Department of Homeland Security has confirmed a major TSA change that will eventually take place at all airports throughout the country that will make travel a lot easier for families.
U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem said priority TSA lines for families could be coming soon at Nashville International Airport.
As of Tuesday, passengers at U.S. airports are no longer required to remove their shoes during the TSA screening process.
The RFI marks a pivotal step toward what could become a broader embrace of commercial screening solutions throughout the national airport system.
Currently, liquids are limited to 3.4 ounces per container with exceptions for essential items. Days after announcing that travelers would no longer need to take their shoes off for TSA screening before flights, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem hinted at another possible change.
