Chris Fleming’s move to Alabama’s basketball staff drew praise on Monday from Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson. The endorsement came in a post shared by Alabama Men’s Basketball, which included Atkinson’s full quote and a photo of Fleming on the court.

Former Cleveland Cavs forward and St. Edward High School standout Jawad Williams is coming home as an assistant coach. Willliams, who played for the Cavaliers from 2008-11, averaged 3.8 points, 1.5 rebounds and .6 assists in his three-year career.
