Former Michigan State golfer James Piot makes the Rocket Classic cut as other Spartans have their tournament end
DETROIT. (WILX) - Round two of the Rocket Classic at the Detroit Country Club wrapped up Friday evening, and former Michigan State golfer James Piot was able to make his first PGA Tournament cut. Piot finished with six birdies in his second round and was six under par to just make the cut at six under par.
Grand Rapids' Brett White shot a 5-under 67 on Thursday at DGC to lead the local contingent at the Rocket. Canton's James Piot finished with a 2-under 70.
