A massive showdown is expected in Las Vegas, where UNLV will host the Rainbow Warrior football team in a Mountain West battle on Friday, Nov. 21.

Among them is quarterback Micah Alejado, who moved to Vegas from Ewa Beach and prepped at national powerhouse Bishop Gorman, where he won a national title. “It’s exciting just to go back and play there again, and play in Allegiant (Stadium) again,” Alejado said. “At the end of the day, it’s just another game and that’s how we got to attack it.”

The University of Hawaiʻi football team departed Wednesday for Las Vegas ahead of Friday’s nationally televised matchup against UNLV, a pivotal late-season showdown with major Mountain West implications.
