The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a death investigation after a man was found unresponsive at the Jackson County Detention Center and later died at a local hospital overnight.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office said corrections officers were conducting scheduled bed-checks when they found two inmates unresponsive.
The Jackson County Sheriff has named temporary replacements after the Jail Director resigned.
