The hunger crisis in the Gaza Strip has soared “alarmingly,” health workers have warned, with a growing number of children dying of malnutrition.

At least 67 people were killed by Israeli fire while they waited for U.N. aid trucks in northern Gaza on Sunday, the territory's health ministry said.

Growing numbers of children are suffering from malnutrition in the besieged enclave with several dying in recent days. Meanwhile, hundreds of Palestinians have been killed trying to access limited aid supplies.
