Thunder center/forward Chet Holmgren has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the host Spurs due to a sprained left ankle.

Holmgren was out for the team's latest contest against the San Antonio Spurs, though he's set to return on the second night of the back-to-back. The last time Holmgren and Hartenstein were both active, the Thunder staggered the two more. Daigneault opted to start Holmgren and bring Hartenstein off the bench.

Two minutes into the game, Holmgren sustained a left ankle sprain when he rolled it on Dyson Daniels's foot. The seven-footer had the transition advantage but only drew the shooting foul on the league leader in steals.
