January 18, 2025 – LOS ANGELES, CA – Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman announced on Friday that the resentencing hearing for Erik and Lyle Menendez, originally scheduled for January 30-31, has been continued by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Jesic.

The announcement came after what prosecutor Nathan Hochman said was a "productive" meeting with the brothers' relatives who support their release.

Erik and Lyle Menendez, who were sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for killing their parents in 1989, will continue to wait for their day in court after their resentencing hearing was pushed back for the second time.
