Multiplayer mod Skyrim Together Reborn shows great success in the days following its anticipated release, with over 50,000 downloads in its first day.

Skyrim Together Reborn, a mod that adds co-op to Bethesda's beloved RPG, has been downloaded more than 80,000 times in three days – but the team behind it will now move onto other projects.

The newly-released Skyrim Together Reborn co-op mod has got off to an incredible start. In fact, it has already been downloaded more than 50k times since its release on Friday.

The mod is specifically called “Skyrim Together Reborn” and will be released on Nexus. Instructions on how to download the mod can be found here for when it does go live in the coming days.

Finally launching on July 8, the Skyrim Together Reborn mod has amassed more than 85,000 downloads in just three days.

Post-launch, the mod's team also plans to create an API that'll allow players to implement and craft their own mods within Skyrim Together.

Hopefully the mod will fare better. A separate launcher is required to use the mod, as well as an account on the Skyrim Together site and a linked Patreon account. It’s out now for Patreon backers.

Skyrim Together, a PC mod supporting eight-player co-op multiplayer in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, will soon enter a short closed beta and then be released to the general public.
