New Peaky Blinders Movie Update Confirms 1 Key Character Won't Return Despite Season 6 Cliffhanger
A major Peaky Blinders character will not appear in the upcoming cinematic installment, despite the season 6 cliffhanger. The movie, titled The Immortal Man, is currently in production at Netflix and will see Cillian Murphy reprise his role as Tommy Shelby.
Netflix and the BBC are staying in the world of “Peaky Blinders,” with a two-season sequel series announced on Thursday. “I’m thrilled to be announcing this new chapter in the ‘Peaky Blinders’ story,” creator Steven Knight told Tudum.
The 51-year-old Emmy-winning actor and producer from Merseyside has starred in everything from Boiling Point to Gangs of New York, not to mention this year’s landmark mini-series Adolescence, which he both starred in and co-wrote. (He also played a character called “DJ Banana” in a 2001 film called The Last Minute, but hey, no one’s perfect.)
