After missing the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the fifth consecutive season, the Philadelphia Flyers made a change behind the bench by hiring Rick Tocchet, most recently of the Vancouver Canucks. Just days before the 2025 NHL Draft, the Flyers are adding forward Trevor Zegras in a trade with the Anaheim Ducks.

The Anaheim Ducks are trading Zegras to the Flyers in exchange for center Ryan Poehling and two draft picks, the team announced Monday. The package includes the No. 45 pick of the 2025 draft and a fourth-rounder in 2026.

Zegras, 24, is extremely skilled but has struggled with injuries and consistency the past few seasons. The Flyers will send Ryan Poehling and two draft picks to Anaheim in the deal.
