According to David Aldridge of The Athletic, the Pacers did not make the right moves this offseason. In fact, he ranked their offseason as the third worst in the entire NBA. Aldridge essentially blames the Tyrese Haliburton injury as the biggest reason for them not to make many moves this summer.

Tyrese Haliburton will not play next season for the Indiana Pacers. After tearing his Achilles tendon in Game 7 of the NBA Finals, it's hard to imagine Haliburton coming back early. Now, general manager Kevin Protchard and Haliburton himself have made it clear that they aren't counting on an early return,
