The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory at 3:19 a.m. EST on Sunday valid from 4 p.m. EST until Tuesday 7 p.m. EST for Lake, Newaygo, Kent, Barry and Kalamazoo counties.

On Sunday at 5:33 a.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated winter weather advisory valid from 10 a.m. until Monday 1 a.m. for Salem, Gloucester, Camden and Burlington counties.

Storm Warning was issued for York and Adams County for Sunday by the National Weather Service in State College, with a snowstorm expected.

A winter storm watch will be in effect Sunday for much of eastern Pennsylvania, including the Poconos. In Carbon and Monroe counties, 6 to 10 inches of snow is possible, the National Weather Service said Friday afternoon when issuing the watch. For Pike and Wayne counties, 5 to 9 inches is possible, the NWS said.

A winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 4:50 a.m. valid from 10 a.m. until Monday 1 a.m. for Monmouth, Ocean and Burlington counties.

Sunday’s system was expected to bring nothing more than a coating of snow, however, that quickly changed. As of Saturday afternoon, the National Weather Service believes Staten Island and the city will receive around four inches of snow;
