Lando Norris won a riveting Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday, cutting fellow McLaren driver Oscar Piastri’s lead in the championship standings to 9 points in the last Formula 1 race before the summer break.

Lando Norris fell from third to fifth on the opening lap of the Hungarian Grand Prix, but 70 laps later he crossed the line first for a thrilling win.

Norris stayed out longer than the leaders and opted for a one-stop strategy, a move which paid off. He ended up fighting fellow McLaren driver Oscar Piastri for the win, a battle which featured the two contenders for the drivers' title.
