Afeni Badu Muhammad, 26, of Eastpointe, was arraigned on Friday, July 11, on the charges of first-degree murder, carrying a dangerous weapon with unlawful intent and being a habitual offender, second offense, in connection with the fatal stabbing of 39-year-old Jennifer Harris at the McDonald’s at 17921 9 Mile Road in Eastpointe.

A woman is dead after she was stabbed by a coworker following a fight at an Eastpointe McDonald's on Thursday, police say.

Afeni Muhammad, 26, of Eastpointe was arraigned on two counts of murder and carrying a dangerous weapon with unlawful intent a day after she allegedly stabbed her manager at McDonald's to death.

A McDonald's worker used a "knife longer than 3 inches" and she allegedly stabbed her manager "up to possibly as many as 15 times," causing her death, according to an assistant prosecutor.
