Colorado firefighters have continued making progress as they battle several large wildfires burning across the western part of the state.

Fire crews working across western Colorado made more progress containing and slowing the growth of several wildfires Thursday.

Several wildfires in western Colorado have scorched more than 30,000 acres as of Sunday, but firefighting crews are making progress with containment, incident officials said.
