Viking announced its newest ship for the Nile River—the 82-guest Viking Amun—was floated out on Thursday, marking a significant construction milestone and the first time the vessel has touched water.

Viking has taken delivery of its newest purpose-built Nile River ship this week, the Viking Amun. The delivery ceremony for the line’s seventh Egypt ship was held at Massara shipyard in Cairo, Egypt.
