Satellite images show widespread destruction following deadly UPS plane crash in Louisville
Newly released satellite images are showing the scale of destruction left behind after a UPS cargo plane crashed in Louisville on Wednesday.
Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg said the 14th victim was found at the crash site Friday evening. UPS has identified the plane's three crew members as Captain Richard Wartenberg, First Officer Lee Truitt and International Relief Officer Captain Dana Diamond.
Investigators are reviewing 63 hours of data collected from the black box of a UPS cargo plane involved in a deadly crash that killed at least 13 people in Louisville, Kentucky, earlier this week. Nine people remain missing as authorities sift through the wreckage of Tuesday's crash in an attempt to piece together what went wrong.
Videos show UPS Flight 2976 banking left before the accident, and officials said the plane's left engine detached entirely during takeoff.
