The 9,932-square-foot lot was listed for $999,000 on Jan. 16—less than 10 days after the Palisades fire tore through the coastal community, destroyed hundreds of structures, and left dozens of evacuated residents without homes to return to.

The charred remains of a Los Angeles-area home, now just a spacious lot, have found a buyer willing to pay over $1 million, the property's listing agent reports.

Crews have restored power to nearly all the fire- impacted homes and businesses in the Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass announced Tuesday.
