Taylor was one of two wrestlers with Iowa ties to reach Final X. Ben Provisor, a second-year wrestler at Grand View, qualified in Greco-Roman at 82 kilos (180).

Provisor, a Stevens Point native, lost in the Round of 16 in the 187-pound division of Greco-Roman wrestling. Provisor fell 3-1 to Rustam Assakalov of Uzbekistan.
