FAYETTEVILLE—Arkansas football has now extended scholarship offers to nine in-state prospects in the 2027 class after Bryant defensive end Samuel Nelson received an offer from the Razorbacks on Friday. Nelson, 6-3 and 220 pounds, had offers from Oklahoma, Florida State, Missouri State and Central Arkansas prior to his offer from the Razorbacks.
Silverfield will be overseeing a 2026 roster that includes a few returning faces compared to the new ones he managed to snag from the transfer portal this offseason. The Razorbacks welcome 13 commits in the class of 2026 and 42 transfers, including seven from Silverfield's former team, the Memphis Tigers.
