Stephon Castle became the fourth player in franchise history to win Rookie of the Year, joining Victor Wembanyama (2024), Tim Duncan (1998), and David Robinson (1990).

The San Antonio Spurs saw rookie Stephon Castle take home the NBA Rookie of the Year honors on Tuesday night, edging out Jaylen Wells and Zaccharie Risacher.

Castle follows 2023-24 recipient Victor Wembanyama and is the fourth ROY winner in franchise history, also joining David Robinson and Tim Duncan. Memphis Grizzlies forward Jaylen Wells and Atlanta Hawks forward Zaccharie Risacher were the other finalists for the award.
