Two weeks after President Donald Trump’s sweeping tax bill passed the House with razor-thin margins, the Senate has begun to tinker with the legislation’s architecture. Some are now warning that changes in that chamber could cause the edifice to collapse.

House Republicans will vote to make difficult changes to the GOP megabill today in an attempt to keep the bill on track in the Senate.

To offset that cost, GOP senators are looking to water down other tax provisions they believe aren’t as “pro-growth.”
