The Buffalo Bills aren’t commenting on the reason behind James Cook not participating in practice in what could be viewed as the running back’s next step in escalating his bid to extend the final year

With his contract dispute ongoing, Buffalo Bills running back James Cook showed up for Sunday's mandatory practice but did not participate. Instead, the 25-year-old stood off to the side and spent a short amount of time on an exercise bike.

According to Alaina Getzenberg, Bills RB James Cook only offered up a single word when asked why he isn’t practicing with the team: “Business.” The team had no comment on Cook’s decision to decline participation in practice.
