On Saturday, hundreds of people gathered in Seattle to support justice, equality, and human rights. Organized by People’s March, formerly known as the Women’s March, the event began with speeches at Cal Anderson Park. Some speakers included Representative Pramila Jayapal, President of the regional NAACP Sheley Seacrest and others.

Organizers hope that the march will inspire protesters to turn their passions, outrage and fears into collective opposition.
