Novo Nordisk said on Monday it would halt its collaboration with U.S. telehealth company Hims & Hers Health over the distribution of the Danish company's blockbuster Wegovy weight loss drugs. The two companies had announced a collaboration in April for Hims & Hers to sell Wegovy through a bundled offering on the telehealth company's platform.

Novo Nordisk is ending a deal with telehealth company Hims & Hers, saying Monday that Hims has been engaging in “illegal mass compounding” of GLP-1 obesity treatments and “deceptive marketing.”

The FDA had resolved the shortage of Wegovy in April, and telehealth providers were advised to stop selling compounded semaglutide products. Novo Nordisk said that Hims & Hers continues to offer these compounded drugs.
