In the same vein as the play itself, the "Tush Push" barrels forward. On Wednesday, NFL owners voted at the spring league meeting to keep the play made famous by the Philadelphia Eagles, rejecting a proposal put forward by the Green Bay Packers to ban it.

The final vote on the proposed ban of the Tush Push was 22-10, and at least 24 votes were needed to pass it. The Chicago Bears were one of the 22 teams who voted to ban the play.

The Jets were one of the ten teams to vote against the ban. The Super Bowl Champion Eagles have used the “tush push” to turn short yardage situations into almost automatic conversions. Using the mobile 6’1” 223 pound Jalen Hurts, the play has turned into a big advantage for Philadelphia.
