Wide receiver Antoine Green has been waived, the team announced Tuesday afternoon. Green appeared in nine games as a rookie in 2023 and was tracking toward a role in 2024 before he suffered brain and neck injuries in Detroit's preseason game against the New York Giants on Aug. 9.

Mahogany, Ratledge and fifth-round rookie Miles Frazier have most of their experience at right guard. Glasgow has played both spots and brings experience as a top-flight backup center to boot. Mahogany and Ratledge get the early nod for those two starting spots based on how much they fit what the Lions want to be about.

The Detroit Lions could move on from one of their starters from the 2024 season after adding major competition at his position during the NFL Draft.
