MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum celebrated Friday the victory of Fátima Bosch Fernández of Mexico as Miss Universe 2025, applauding her as an example for women.

After being crowned Miss Universe 2025, Bosch celebrated her achievements in an Instagram post, writing, “Today I reaffirmed that what God has destined for you, neither envy stops it, nor destiny aborts it, nor luck changes it. Long live Christ the King ❤️ 🔥.”
