St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the Blues have acquired defenseman Logan Mailloux from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for forward Zack Bolduc.

Mailloux has been traded to the St. Louis Blues in a deal that doesn’t include Jordan Kyrou. The Montreal Canadiens had been rumoured to be after Kyrou, but in the end, Mailloux was swapped for Zack Bolduc.

Zack Bolduc is joining the team he grew up cheering for with mixed emotions. The Montreal Canadiens acquired Bolduc from the St. Louis Blues for defenceman Logan Mailloux on Tuesday before NHL free agency opened.
