England captain Leah Williamson says the Lionesses are targeting more silverware after telling fans at Tuesday’s Euros parade in London: “This story is not done yet”. Williamson and her Lionesses team-mates enjoyed an open-top bus procession along The Mall to celebrate their Euro 2025 triumph.
It was here that the Nigerian artist shocked England manager Sarina Wiegman with an impromptu performance with the squad on stage. Burna Boy was introduced on stage by former England player Alex Scott and made reference to the fact that he was Wiegman’s favorite singer.

The Lionesses celebrated becoming European Champions during a victory parade through London to Buckingham Palace on Tuesday. Around 65,000 lined the streets through the capital to catch a glimpse of Sarina Wiegman and her winning squad.
The Lionesses, England’s national women’s soccer team, celebrated their second consecutive victory in London with scores of fans lining the streets for a jubilant parade. The women’s team came from behind in the UEFA European Women’s Championship to beat Spain 3-1 on penalties and retain the title.

By edging out Spain in a penalty shootout in the European championship final, England’s women’s team cemented its position as the standard-bearer for English soccer.
Fans will be able to show their appreciation for Sarina Wiegman’s victorious side after they became the first England team in history to win a major tournament on foreign soil by successfully defending the European Championship that they also won three years ago at Wembley.
