Williams "was nothing more than the tool they used to turn off the water, which they knew would have to happen after clogging the toilet."

Of the 10 inmates who fled early that morning, five have been recaptured as of May 21 and are being held at the maximum-security Louisiana State Penitentiary.

Authorities allege Williams played a key role in the breakout by turning off the water to the toilet near where the inmates escaped.
