A fragile ceasefire between Iran and Israel appeared to be holding after initially faltering. U.S. President Donald Trump expressed frustration with both sides Tuesday, saying they had fought “for so long and so hard” that they do not know what they are doing.
Israel ordered fresh strikes on Iran, as Iran denied violating the truce brokered by Trump just hours earlier.
The 12-day conflict between Iran and Israel in June 2025 saw the United States intervene by striking three Iranian nuclear sites before brokering a ceasefire. While the pause still left high tensions between the two warring Middle East countries,
