Houston Astros starter Cristian Javier left Sunday’s 12-0 loss to the Baltimore Orioles after three innings because of an illness. Javier allowed three hits and a run with two strikeouts before being replaced by Shawn Dubin for the fourth inning.
The Orioles led 1-0 when Javier left the game, plating their only run on a sacrifice fly by Gunnar Henderson in the third. Right-hander Shawn Dubin replaced him and proceeded to give up four earned runs in the fifth, including a three-run homer by Jordan Westburg that put Baltimore up 5-0.
Ramón Urìas beat Jackson Holliday’s throw to first, allowing Carlos Correa to score from third and the Houston Astros outlasted the Baltimore Orioles 5-4 in 12 innings Saturday night
Samuel Basallo had an eventful MLB debut, Dean Kremer shoved and the Orioles’ young core went off offensively in a 12-0 win over the Astros.

Jesus Sanchez had a night, robbing a grand slam and a three-run homer. Unfortunately for him, the rest of the team imploded.

Ahead of Sunday's game against the Houston Astros, Baltimore called up highly regarded prospect Samuel Basallo. In doing so, it posted a hype video and an emotional video with his father sharing the news: Basallo is the Orioles' No. 1 prospect and the No. 8 overall prospect in the league, per MLB.com's prospect rankings.
The Baltimore Orioles smoked the Houston Astros, 12-0, on Sunday night. It was the rare bright spot in an otherwise dour campaign for this O's team. Viewed as a potential World Series threat not that long ago, Baltimore has fallen to the bottom of the AL East this season. Changes are on the horizon as a result, and very few players are safe.
