Claims of bigotry, discrimination, and racist fan behavior after a WNBA game between the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky earlier this month were not verifiable. The game was played at Gainbridge Fieldhouse and featured a contentious matchup between league rivals Caitlin Clark of the Fever and Angel Reese of the Sky on May 17.

Last week, when it was reported the league was investigating the situation, both Reese and Fever guard Caitlin Clark applauded the decision and said there's "no place" for such behavior in the WNBA.
