Wendy McMahon, the executive who oversees CBS News, abruptly announced her departure Monday morning, telling employees at the network that she disagrees with company management about “the path forward” — without providing details.

It’s become clear that the company and I do not agree on the path forward,” Wendy McMahon wrote to the staff, weeks after the top producer at "60 Minutes" resigned.
