This museum is ok among Children’s Museums! It’s definitely geared toward younger children! My 5 year olds enjoyed it but my older son was not impressed.Full review by Kristina A

Every child, no matter their age, is different. With my 5 grandchildren and one greatgrandchild, I have found they each found one specific area they kept gravitating to and wanted to stay for hours. I learned it is easier to plan for several hours and adjust according to the child. Enjoy!

Ten is heading toward the upper end I think, but it would depend on temperment. There's a lot of role play and elementary exploration. A 10 year old will find many things that are interesting, the wind tunnel, shuttle simulator, music room, two level climbing scape and vacuum tube mazes but might be put off by the younger children all around and play places geared toward younger kids.

I wouldn't recommend a walk like that with little ones. If you have "bigs" it is possible. As the other reviewer mentioned it is about a mile. One thing to consider is that the museum is large (3 floors) and there will be allot of walking and playing for the kids while you're there. This may make your walk back quite daunting and exhausting.
